Alligator Step-thru E-Bike

I ordered 2 Alligator E-Bikes bikes at the same time. The first bike came and everything was fine. When the second bike finally arrived months later, the bike was missing screws to attach the fender and handle bar. I reported this to Vetanya and was told to go to the local hardware store to get replacements. Reluctantly, I did that. When I was finally able to ride the second bike, there is clearly something off. It is supposed to have a sensor that senses how hard you pedal and then provides electric assistance accordingly. However, this bike just accelerates to the maximum speed for whatever pedal assist level that is selected, no matter how light or hard you pedal. With the slightest pressure the bike accelerates to the max speed. The only way to stop the acceleration is to hit the brake. I reported this and asked for the bike to be replaced or repaired. All I got in return was a procedure to remove the speed limiter on the bike to make it go faster. I reported the issue several times, even supplying video of the bike accelerating without pedaling. Now Vetanya will not even respond to my requests to have the bike repaired. They insist that there is nothing wrong with the bike. I have two identically equipped bikes and they give two very different experiences. The second bike that accelerates uncommanded is dangerous. But Vetanya is now giving me the silent treatment. I am reporting the bike to the Federal Consumer Safety Commission due to the safety issue with the uncommanded acceleration. I had such high hopes for the Vetanya bikes and do enjoy riding the first bike I received, but cannot recommend doing business with a company that exhibits such childish behavior as not responding to the request to warranty a defective and dangerous product.

to anyone who is uncertain whether or not this bike is the real deal, Let me give you some real feedback. The shipping got held up in customs and became pretty concerning because I was finding phone numbers in California, links to the UK, and links to Canada and none of the phone numbers seem to get anywhere, but every email I sent was instantly followed up with someone named Kasey who did a great job. If you are OK waiting roughly a month, which is about the time it took for me to get my bike, It is well worth it. The bike arrived and it was a weight lifted off my chest. The box was a little beat up by the time it arrived, but I pulled it out and everything was there except two screws and everything looked beautiful. I am shocked how well built and sturdy this bike is. The paint and finish was way more than I expected and everything as far as accessories is top notch. I highly recommend buying a vetanya though it was an emotional roller coaster dealing with the shipping process. I may have been over paranoid that I was being ripped off since it is the first e-bike I have ever purchased online, but knowing now what the process is like I will probably buy a second.

The bikes we received are great and function as meant to. The bikes took 10 weeks to arrive. The dog trailer for the bike took 13 weeks. Wished it was quicker hence the 4 star!

Took long but I was able to receive it after two months. Everything was perfect and I really loved the bike. I wish they had longer batteries up to 8 hours maybe.

So far all is excellent. It assembled easily, apart from fiddling around to align the front wheel so that the brakes didn’t rub.

Have a bike order no response of when be shipped after several attempts to contact the company makes me wonder what going be the support they give after I get my bike if I have a problem not a good way to run a business

I’m now a loyal fan of my new E-Bike It has rejuvenated me at age 75 😜 as a kid I would ride all day except having to pull a hill 😳 but now that that’s not a problem I’ve actually been rejuvenated back to my glory days 🙏🏻🤗🇺🇸😍Thanks Vetanay

It took a long time to wait for delivery, more than a week. But I didn't expect the bike I received to have cruise control, freeing my hands, it's really cool. I would give it 5 stars If the shipping was faster

We purchased our very first e bike and got 2 for the wife and I and boy they are great fast shipping and assembly was a breeze and they have power and good battery life we have had them for about 2 weeks and me and the wife go for a daily ride together and are enjoying them takes time to get use to the speed power to control them well built bikes and the accessories they come with are great only thing we changed were the seats ones they come with are to hard that's the only thing wrong the the bike but no biggie and plus great customer service if you have any questions on the bikes after purchasing them. They battery also last a good long distance that's a plus I would definitely recommend theses bikes for your riding pleasures.
